Cabling and Splicing
Cable pulling, blowing fibre, splicing and testing: our engineers are equipped to deliver an end-to-end service on all telecom networks.
No matter whether it’s copper or fibre, our team of specialist cabling engineers connect infrastructure through conventional and direct buried duct or FTTP to fit our clients’ specifications. Nexus completes Verevo’s end-to-end telecommunications service, completing the network ready for home or business installation. Nexus offer their range of cabling services to external civils contractors, as well as coordinating with Verevo CCN. Our experienced managers also assist their clients with planning and design, where necessary, to create cost-effective solutions to any issues that may arise.
We want out clients’ networks live as quickly as we can put them in the ground, without delay. Our engineers are all SLG trained to encourage safe practices. They are also BT accredited, meaning that they are certificated for PIA (Passive Infrastructure Access) works, providing the opportunity for alternative hybrid network solutions, utilising both underground and overhead architecture. Nexus also provides detailed as-installed documentation upon completion of works.
The scope of our work includes GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network). We are currently working on a refurbishment and replacement programme of existing underground fibre distribution nodes on behalf of CityFibre.
To ensure that Verevo’s telecommunications service is finished to a high standard, Nexus engineers are trained in all elements of testing, including IOLM and OTDR, to ensure the network is completed to our clients’ absolute satisfaction. All builds are given this level of attention to make sure we get it right, on time and the first time.
